Michal Vlašín
Michal Vlašín, DVM, Ph.D. is the Associated Professor and the Head Physician of the Cardiovascular Animal Research Centre – ICRC Brno located at the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno. He completed his Ph.D. studies in Haematology and Microsurgery at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 2000. Dr. Vlašín is the Head of the Department of Experimental Pathology at the Dogs and Cats Clinic, presidium member of the CSAVA (affiliated with WSAVA), member of International Veterinary Ear Nose and Throat Association, executive board member of Czech Society for Thrombosis and Haemostasis and lector of several scientific journals. Within the FNUSA-ICRC project Dr. Vlašín works as a Research Coordinator of Integrated multidisciplinary platform for experimental medicine and biotechnology.
