4th international biotechnology conference Gate2BrnoBiotech

The fourth international biotechnology conference Gate2BrnoBiotech was held on 21st October 2010 in Brno as a part of the accompanying programme of the International Fair for Medical Technology, Rehabilitation and Healthcare Medical Fair Brno Central Europe 2010, following the success of the three previous conferences held in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
Gate2BrnoBiotech focused on the latest biotechnology and biomedical research projects and presented this dynamically developing sector to both experts and the general public.
The conference presented the key projects conducted by the research teams of new research centres that are currently being developed - Central European Institute of Technology (CEITEC), International Clinical Research Centre (FNUSA-ICRC), Regional Centre for Applied Molecular Oncology (RECAMO) and Institute of Molecular and Translational Medicine (BIOMEDREG).
The aim of the conference was to create a platform for close interaction between academia and industry and strengthen the application of the latest research results in the industrial sector.
Participants had the opportunity to set up meetings with other registered participants via Gate2BrnoBiotech messaging system.
