Dalibor Valík
Assoc. Prof. Dalibor Valík, MD, PhD is Head of the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute in Brno. He received his MD in 1985 from the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University in Brno and PhD degree in Biochemistry and Pathobiochemistry from the First Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague in 2006. Dalibor Valík is respected authority on biochemistry and oncology. His main interests are focused on the research in hereditary metabolic disorders and its relation to the variable response of individual patients to antitumor chemotherapy. Dalibor Valík is coordinator of RECAMO (Regional Centre for Applied Molecular Oncology).
